The BIG day... Race day!!!

Sunday.... The day that made the trip the most amazing vacation anyone could ever ask for! We got to the track around 9:30, and the race started at 1:30.. (4 hrs. early!) We found our seats, which were AMAZING.. We were in the section next to the start finish line, but we could still spit on the line!! 18 rows up, which was perfect! We could see 90% of the track (they put a huge building in the middle of the field, so no one could see the back side of the track.) We were close enough to get rubber from the tires on us! We saw it ALL!!! It just happened that Dale Jr. pulled the pit spot in front of us!! It was perfect!! Here are just some of the pictures of the race.. Hope you enjoy!! My favorite thing.. The jets doing the fly bye!! Roger and I at the race!! Just happened Dale Jr. drew the pit stop box right in front of our seats!! SO COOL!! Our seats were right next to the flag box!! Amazing seats! This is a picture of the start of the race.. It was so cool to see all the cars round the bend and see the green flag drop! Dale Jr.'s pit on one of his stops.. Very cool! Roger modeling our beautiful headsets! You can rent them for like $35, and you get to listen to the driver of choice. Of course we picked Jr.'s channel.. We got to listen to him talk back and forth with his crew!! TOTALLY worth it!! The score board... you can see #99, Carl Edwards, he was in 10th and Jr. was in 11th. This is a picture of the big wreck that happened like 7 laps until the finish.. It was awesome because he hit right in front of us, spun all around, and landed just to the right of us! It was so COOL!!! They had the ambulance out and all.. very cool!
