We were told we had to be at the hospital at 10:00am on Friday morning, so we woke up early, got showered and headed up to the hospital. My little sister, Jennifer went with us to help us with the girls (which was GREAT of her!! Love Ya Jen!!) Once we got there Sharon (my Mother-in-law) was there waiting for us! We got the girls all checked in and ready to go before 11:00 (Arikka's surgery was scheduled at 11:30). Well, after being in the waiting room for over a hour, the nurse at the front desk came over and told us that Dr. Tagge was running late. (He ended up running 2 hrs late!!)
At 1:30pm they took Arikka back to surgery, and McKayla went back at 2:00pm. Both girls did GREAT during the surgery, but it was Arikka who gave us all a scare!
After Arikka came out of surgery, she decided to stop breathing! They ended up having to give her strait oxygen and do a albuteral treatment! It took her a while to come around after all of that! But she is doing GREAT now... Kinda... If only she would sleep at night!!!
McKayla on the other hand came out of surgery like a champ!! She was telling everyone that she was now 4 years old, she likes horses and cowboys!! (she even told one nurse that there was a pig on the ceiling!!) She is still doing GREAT!!!

When we were on our way out of the hospital, Arikka wanted McKayla to hold her again! It is SO cute to see these 2 little girls being BEST FRIENDS!!
I just want to take a minute and let everyone who helped us out, gave us a call or came over to visit know how much I appricate all that was done for us!! THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!!

Glad everything went well and that they are both doing great. Scary about Arikka...glad she ended up being ok.
Phew, that's scary. Hope that's the end of surgeries for your little girls. Glad to hear they are doing well.
